Heat and Glare Reduction Films

Add to that the sun’s glare, which can be a problem all year around with it causing potential visibility issues. An application of Tinting Concepts’ heat and glare reduction window films can instantly make your premises more comfortable
An application of our window film will cut out a large proportion of unwanted heat and glare, whilst still allowing natural light to pass through the glass, maintaining your view and best of all, not making your room extremely dark in the process. Our solar film can be applied to existing windows and is available in a range of grades, shades and colours. Each film varies in appearance and performance.
An application of our heat and glare reduction films can have numerous other benefits including reducing the fading on blinds and furniture caused by harmful UV rays and reducing energy consumption by reducing the strain on air-conditioning units. Since our films fliter out up to 99% of the suns UV rays, it provides a welcome additional barrier for sensitive skins. Privacy Window Film
Windows are a valuable source of light as well as providing a welcome view to the outside world. Sometimes however, when privacy is needed, Tinting Concepts can help you gain that privacy in a stylish and effective way.
Tinting Concepts offers two types of privacy window film, which are available in a wide range of finishes:
- Full Time two-way privacy
- Daytime one-way privacy
Daytime one-way privacy can be achieved with an application of a reflective window film. The film appears reflective on the brighter side of the glass, which is always the external side during daylight hours, thus preventing vision thru the glass. The view from inside out is maintained. Reflective privacy is suitable for both internal and external application, however a light balance ratio of 3:1 (light to dark) is needed for optimum performance.
Two-way privacy can be achieved with an application of our frosted range of films or solid colour vinyl.
Our frosted window film will give your glass the appearance of acid etched glass, preventing vision both ways whilst still allowing high levels of light to pass through the glass. Our frosted vinyl can be computer cut or printed to take the form of patterns, logos and even artwork or designs which help create a truly bespoke privacy film.
Solid colour vinyl’s are available in a range of colours that will block vision and a large proportion of the light. Vinyl is a good choice for blocking unsightly views or for branding and logos designs after a window film application.
Safety and Security Film
Glass can be fragile and potentially dangerous material, with the possibility of serious damage or injury if broken. Legislation dictates that glass in certain locations must be of a minimum safety standard. We offer an effective and efficient alternative to safety glass with its safety and security window film.
Safety window film works by ensuring that if glass breaks, it does so in a safe manner. If a standard untreated glass breaks, the shards fall away from the frame creating an immediate and dangerous hazard. Safety film holds the broken glass in place, preventing it from detaching and causing an issue. This application will immediately transform glass into safety glass.
